The Life of Henry Rupp

It is with great sadness that the family of Henry Albert Rupp announce his passing on April 10, 2023 at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida after suffering a stroke in November. Henry (Hank) was born on May 30, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ to Dagmar Peterson and Henry William Rupp. He grew up in Jersey City and attended school there before he pursued his business degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. It was during this time that he was active for ten years with the New Jersey National Guard.
During his business career, Hank worked for several major corporations in Human Resources. He and his wife Norma, celebrated their retirement together from M&M/Mars, located in Hackettstown, NJ. Following their retirement, Hank and Norma moved from Sparta, NJ to Daytona Beach, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his former spouse Theresa Hession Rupp.
Surviving are his three children, Andrew Rupp (Rosie); Sheila Deck (Ken); and Christopher Henry Rupp. He also had four grandchildren: Allison Chimera (Greg), Kendall Elliott (Ryan), Brittany Rupp, and Brandon Deck (Amanda Celiberti-Deck) and one great grandchild Teddy Chimera.
In 1975 he married Norma Kaiser Rupp and he was a devoted husband for almost 48 years. He was a kind stepfather to Norma's 4 children; J. Robert Kaiser; Katherine Kaiser who passed away in 1976; Carol Kaiser Kitchin (Lloyd) and John Kaiser (Sothik). He was a step grandfather to Jessica, Brian, Douglas, Gregory, Joseph and Stephanie and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday May 6, 2023 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 203 Eyland Avenue, Succasunna, New Jersey 07876. Interment will follow in Sparta Cemetery, Main Street, SpartaTownship, New Jersey 07871.
