Henry Kenneth Slominski

Henry Kenneth Slominski, a resident of Shelby Township and formerly of Warren, passed away at his home on January 9, 2026, at the age of 65. He was born on January 12, 1960, in Warren, Michigan, to the late Henry L. and Shirley Ellen Slominski.
Henry was raised in Sterling Heights and graduated from Sterling Heights High School. He went on to build a career as a local truck driver and especially enjoyed forming connections with fellow drivers by talking on trucker radio stations.
At the age of 23, Henry met the love of his life, Debbie Billings. They shared many years together and were married on May 8, 2013, in Warren, where they made their home before moving to Shelby Township four years ago.
A true hands-on person, Henry loved all things mechanical and was known for being exceptionally handy. He had a passion for motorcycles and classic automobiles, many of which he spent time upgrading, detailing, and customizing to his liking. He took great pride in his home, enjoyed yard work, and found happiness in caring for his surroundings. Henry was also an avid griller and smoker of meats, and he dearly loved his dogs and cats.
Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Billings; his parents-in-law, Midge and Bernie Billings; his sisters-in-law, Dawn (David Moss) Bobola, Tracy (Shaun) Llewellyn, and Kelly Kapraun; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Shirley Slominski; his brother, Randy Slominski; and his sister-in-law, Kim Billings.
Visitation for Henry will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel, 48271 Van Dyke Avenue, Shelby Township, Michigan 48317.
