With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Michael Lee Boone, who was taken from us too soon on February 10, 2025, at the young age of 37. His kindness, strength, and unwavering belief in the power of positivity left an unforgettable mark on the lives of those who knew him.
Michael was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is deeply missed by his father, Michael Boone; mother, Mary Lee Bogel; stepmother, April Boone; and grandmother, Linda Holland. His sisters, Merissa Smith (Ryan), Melody Loeffler (Eric), and Angela Mernatti, cherished him dearly. He was a loving uncle to his niece, Sophia, and nephews, Jackson, Maxton, Jeremiah, and Jordan. He also leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity.
He was born in Detroit and raised in Sterling Heights, Michael attended Sterling Heights High School, where he built lifelong friendships and developed a passion for fitness, music, and hardscaping. He took pride in his work at Exquisite Hardscapes, where he transformed outdoor spaces with dedication and craftsmanship.
A firm believer in the power of positivity, Michael practiced Buddhism and carried an uplifting spirit that inspired those around him. He found joy in working out, spending time with his friends, and immersing himself in music. His radiant energy and infectious laughter will be remembered always.
A celebration of life visitation and service for Michael will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica from 1pm to 6pm with a service at 4 pm.
