Henry L. Stoeckert Jr.

Henry L. Stoeckert, Jr. of Cedar Grove, N.J. passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at age 60. His loving heart leaves a beacon of light.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Shook''s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove. A funeral service will be offered on Saturday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Church of Cedar Grove, 65 Bowden Rd., Cedar Grove. Henry was born in Glen Ridge, N.J. to Henry L. and Lillian E. (nee Davenport) Stoeckert and was a lifelong Cedar Grove resident. Henry was a journeyman carpenter for many years. He was an avid Yankee fan and a stamp collector. In his spare time he enjoyed building model planes and battleships and playing pinball machines. Henry also loved all music and would attend many concerts. What brought the most joy to him was lending a helping hand to those in need.
Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his devoted siblings, Nancy Jean Fisher and her husband, David and Helen Carol Stoeckert; caring niece and nephew, Lauren and Jason; and dear cousin, Robert.
