New Iberia, LA - A home-going celebration of life for Mr. Henry Willis, Jr., will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Fletcher Funeral Home with Rev. Francis Kioasi Agbley officiating.
He will await the resurrection in the mausoleum of Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church Cemetery (130 N. Richelieu Circle) in New Iberia, LA following the service.
A visitation will be held at Fletcher Funeral Home on Saturday, June 7, 2025, beginning at 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
Henry Willis, Jr. was a resident of New Iberia, LA and a native of Franklin, LA. He transitioned at 9:39 P.M. on Sunday, May 2025, at his residence.
He was a graduate of Franklin High School.
To cherish his fond memory, Henry leaves his loving and devoted wife, Tricette Boloney Willis of New Iberia, LA; mother, Sophie Thomas Willis of Franklin, LA; three children, Ja'Tavian Willis, Al'Vontre Boloney, and La'Tressa Boloney of New Iberia, LA; two grandchildren, Jobrylin Boloney and Damar Boloney of New Iberia, LA; one brother, Antoine Thomas (Wendy) of Franklin, LA; two sisters, Tenetta Jenkins Robinson (Wilford) of Jeanerette, LA and Marie Johnson of Franklin, LA; eight aunts, Christine Thomas, Mary Frye, Madeline Eugene, Enez Page all of Franklin, LA, Jennifer Navy and Mary Thomas of Beaumont, TX, Dedria Steven and Earlee Trahan both of Lafayette, LA; uncles, Lucius Thomas, Jr. of Franklin, LA, Edward Charles Thomas of Franklin, LA and Lucius Antoine of Austin, TX; special niece, Lamonique Washington of Lafayette, LA; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Willis, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Lucius Thomas, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Sophia Mitchell Thomas; mother-in-law, Cecelia Boloney; brother-in-law, Tommy Boloney.
Serving as Active Pallbearers are Corey Boloney, Jermaine Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Robert Thomas, Frank Small, and Gerald Blanks.
