Herbert Dykes Obituary

He dedicated his life to hard work and craftsmanship, building a career as a painter, sandblaster, and handyman. His skills and dedication left a lasting impact on those who knew him and the projects he worked on.
Herbert is preceded in death by his parents, Luke and Agnes Dykes; sisters, Dot & Mary Dykes; and brothers, Terrell & Gerrell Dykes.
He was a father, grandfather, and brother who will be missed deeply by his family.
Herbert is survived by his brother, Doug Dykes; his children, Mickey Dykes (Mitzi), Penny Bodine, Taundis O'Connor, Tausha Knight, and Travis Dykes (Shamika); and eleven grandchildren.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. In lieu of
flowers, the family invites you to make a charitable donation to the National Rheumatoid
Arthritis Society in honor of Herbert E. Dykes.
