Harrison Norris, Sr., was the last of his generation of ten siblings. He was known for being a master mechanic who would always help others in need. Harrison was born August 21st, 1934, to Mary Magdaline Norris and James Anderson Norris.

He is preceded in death by his siblings: Bernice Bell, Willie Bettis, Velma Scott, Oliver Norris, Viola James; twin sisters, Madie Vickers and Mable McGill; twin brothers, James A. Norris and John Norris; and two sons, James E. Norris and Michael D. Norris, Sr.

Harrison went abroad at the young age of nine years old. Once Harrison returned home at the age of twenty-five, met and married the love of his life, Lucille Pressley on December 1st, 1959. He worked as a master mechanic for over thirty years at Prince Tire Company and retired from Kmart Automotive in 1999.

He fell on July 26th, 2025, and broke his hip following surgery, Harrison passed surrounded by loved ones on September 23rd, 2025. He leaves behind to cherish his life with loving memories a beautiful loving and devoted wife, Lucille "Honey" Pressley Norris; his children, Frederick (Mary) Norris, Sr., Broderick (Gloria) Norris, Harrison (Audrey) Norris, Jr., Douglas (Linda) Norris; daughter, DyShannon (Dantavious Gaither) Norris; and adopted daughters, Gloria Cook Carolyn; adopted son, and Mitchell Hands; thirty-four grands, great, and great-great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Bobbie Norris; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many many souls he has touched.

Oh Lord,

Our help in ages past our hope for years to come shelter us from this stormy life to our eternal home.

We, the Norris Family, thank all for your prayer's condolences, contributions, and love. In life we all have journeys to travel and obstacles to face, problems, heartaches, and pain. Through it all always remember that God's will, will be done! Again, we thank you with love from the Norris family.
