Mr. Herbert E. Snelling

Herbert Snelling was born December 9, 1951 to the late Dudley Snelling and the late Ola Lee Garrett in Dade City, Florida. He attended the Public School System of Pasco County where he met and made many lasting friendships. Herbert was employed for many years with Lykes Pasco Fruit Packing Company, until his retirement. His love for music afforded him the opportunity to become a self taught bass guitar player. Herbert enjoyed playing with his friend, Tony Dawkins at many church services and other events. Herbert was a fun and very loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He departed this life on Sunday, January 4, 2026, and was called home to rest. Herbert was preceded in death by: his parents ; and his brother, Ernest Snelling. He leaves fond memories with: his loving and devoted children, Alisa Michelle Boderick and Herbert Snelling, II; grandchildren, J'nai Boderick, Malique Snelling Malachi Snelling, Asia Snelling, and Amir Snelling; 1 great- grandchild, Jaycee Thomas; sister, Gladys Williams (Preston), Annie Snelling and Neta Snelling; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends to mourn his passing.
