It is with heavy hearts yet deep faith that we announce the passing of Omar Zuniga Jr., who went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2025. Omar was a beloved son, cherished brother, and dear friend who brought warmth, humor, and unwavering love to all who knew him.
Omar had an extraordinary gift for bringing laughter and joy wherever he went. His compassion and loyalty were unmatched-if he saw you hurting, he would pause everything to listen, comfort, and ensure a smile returned to your face. He was deeply protective of the hearts of those he loved, always seeking to shield them from harm and encourage them. His love was unconditional, his heart gentle, and his presence a source of light and encouragement. Through his actions, Omar reflected the heart of Christ-gentle, loving, and ready to serve.
A man of God, Omar freely shared His Word to lift and inspire others in their moments of need.
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together but encouraging one another." Hebrews 10:24-25
The family wishes to thank all who have offered love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. They encourage all who knew Omar to continue spreading God's love and kindness in his memory.
We take comfort in God's promise:
"Dear brothers and sisters, we don't want you to be uninformed about those who die. We want you to know what will happen to them so that you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died." - 1 Thessalonians 4:13–14
Though our hearts mourn, we rejoice knowing Omar rests in the presence of his Savior, embraced by His eternal love, where there is no pain or sorrow, only everlasting peace and joy.
May God's peace and comfort surround all who mourn, and may Omar's memory continue to inspire love, faith, and joy in our hearts.
