Herman C. Ebhardt

HERMAN C. "BUTCH" EBHARDT
Herman C. "Butch" Ebhardt, 84, of Hallstead, PA entered into rest on March 12, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late Herman K. and Helen Ebhardt; his beloved wife of 35 years, Betty; a great grandson, Zander Jacobs; siblings, Howard Ebhardt, Frank Ebhardt, and Betty Swartwood.
Herman is survived by his children, two children, Sandi Irwin (Jay) and Sonny Ebhardt (Julie); three grandchildren, Kevin Jr. (Lexi), Sonya (Dirk), and Matt; five great grandchildren, Nolan, Gavin, Skylar, Haevyn, and Kolten; sisters, Helene (Rudy), Diane (Dewey), Louise, and Marty; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members; a long time companion, Maxine Cramer; Maxine's children, Amy Cramer and James Cramer; Maxine's grandson, Joseph Cramer.
Herman graduated from New Milford High School and enlisted with the United States Army. He spent twenty years in the Army. He married Betty in 1964. Herman enjoyed bowling, "marching," and mowing his lawn. He had a sense of humor and his smile would light up a room. Herman cherished spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc., Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in New Milford Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
