Herman Clifton Faulk

Herman Clifton Faulk Pleasant Garden, N.C.: Herman Clifton Faulk, 89 of Pleasant Garden, N.C. died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at the Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, N.C. He was born May 24, 1921 in Bolton, N.C. He was the son of the late Isaac Stanley Faulk and Lettie Gertrude Creech Faulk and was preceded in death by his wife, Mavin R. Faulk. Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Faulk Axsom of Whitsett, N.C.; two granddaughters: Heather Axsom Wilson (Brad) of Burlington, N.C. and Malia Raye Axsom of Nashville, TN; two great-granddaughters: Avery Michelle Wilson and Sydney Claire Wilson of Burlington, N.C.; one sister: Eloise Faulk Williams of Bolton, N.C.; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Faulk served in the U.S. Navy during World War II for five years and was a retired employee of the Steel Industry in Metal Fabrication. A Grave Side Service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw, N.C. with the Rev.
