Hershel Landers, 86, of Hatton passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at his residence. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Fergason Cemetery.
Hershel was born March 9, 1938 to Lonnie and Classie Landers. He loved to hunt, fish, play and sing music. He especially loved spending time with his family at Christmas, Easter and all Holidays.
Survivors include his two sons: Jeff (Tammy) Landers and Joel Landers (Cindy Linam), three grandchildren: Wesley Landers (Kayla), Jennifer Landers, and Nick Landers (Morgan) and eight great-grand children: Dylan Campbell, Jaxon Campbell, Molly Landers, Lucy Landers, Charlie Baker, Lewis Landers, Marlowe Landers and Wiley Landers.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Lucille Landers, his parents: Lonnie and Classie Landers, nine siblings: Herman Landers, Evelyn Landers Pace, Gurnie Landers, Lorene Christian, Hilda Coan, Sherman Landers, Carolyn Woodard, Christine Kent and Wayne Landers.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Landers, Nick Landers, Steve Coan, Roger Williams, Billy Landers and Jeremy Jefferys
The family extends special thanks to his caregiver: Jennifer Landers, Hospice of the Valley and Tammy Dutton for the love and care shown to our loved one.
