Hilda Young Lambert

Mrs. Hilda Jean Young Lambert, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Born on July 17, 1929, in Carroll County, Georgia, Hilda was the daughter of the late James Nathan Young and Mary Lena Boatright Young. She owned and operated the Modern Beauty Shoppe, where she not only styled hair but also nurtured lasting friendships within the community. A devout member of the First Christian Church, Hilda's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Hilda's legacy will continue to inspire and touch all who knew her, a testament to a life beautifully lived and lovingly remembered.
She is survived by her children, Marjorie Aldridge, William H. "Buddy" Lambert, Jr., and Anita and Dan Craven; her grandchildren, Lara Jackson, Liz and Scott Perdue, and Julie Roquemore; great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Grant Willoughby, Emma and Zack Varner, Ansley Perdue, Hudson Perdue, and Hyatt Roquemore. She was also blessed to be able to meet her great-great-grandson, Jameson Willoughby.
She was predeceased by her husband, William H. "Red" Lambert, Sr.; daughter, Martha Jackson; and granddaughter, Tina Jackson Latimer.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 11 am until 1 pm at Almon Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1 pm in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home, officiated by Mr. Matt Gray with a eulogy by William H. "Buddy" Lambert, Jr.
Inurnment will be in Carrollton City Cemetery with Minister Allen Howard officiating.
