Hollis Edward "Eddie" Edmonson, 84 of the Pine Branch community, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025.

A funeral service has been set for Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Blossom Church of God with Rev. Benny Dollins officiating. Interment will follow at Bogata Cemetery. No formal visitation hour will be observed.

Eddie was born in Boston, MA on June 2, 1941 to Hollis and Barbara Smith Edmonson. He served in the United States Army. Eddie was a faithful servant of the Lord, having been licensed in the Church of God and ministering the gospel for many years. He exemplified Christ in the way he lived and the way he loved. He strived to please God in every aspect of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Sue Edmonson; children, Suezette Davidson and husband Jackie, Robbie Collins; grandchildren, Dakota Davidson, Stephanie Brown, Michael David Collins; great-grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Terrance Brown, Sarah Collins, Will Collins, Robert Collins; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte Burge, David Edmonson, Larry Edmonson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; great-grandchild, Baylee Brown; siblings, Robert Lee Edmonson and Leonard Edmonson.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Dakota Davidson, Cory May, Trey Denny, Parker Dollins, David Hutchings and David Hart.
