Homer Maner Obituary

Homer was a proud United States Navy veteran. He was an avid collector and spent his much deserved retirement watching John Wayne & Godzilla. He always looked forward to holidays and family gatherings (including Granny Stella's delicious country cooking). Homer never met a stranger and was a gentle, caring soul who loved his family especially his grand-babies.
Homer is preceded in death by his father, Rufus Maner and mother, Kaye Hall.
Homer is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Vickie Maner; daughter, Carrie (Aaron) Wilson; grandchildren, Sadie Wilson & Calloway Wilson; brothers, James Maner, Allan (Barbara) Kimbrough & Billy Hall; & special cousin, Gregg Bell, special friend Brenda Gilbert. Homer is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service. His memory will be honored privately by those who knew and loved him. While it is bittersweet to no longer have him here with us on earth, we rejoice in knowing that we will one day be reunited.
