Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Maner, age 74, of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025 in her home in Brandon Mississippi. Born on February 1, 1951, in Jackson, Mississippi, Mollie spent half of her life in Georgia before returning to her roots in Mississippi in her later years.
Mollie was a gifted artist and a dedicated student who graduated high school early. She attended Belhaven University before pursuing her passion for pharmacy at the University of Georgia, where she met her husband. Throughout her life, she found joy in nature, often canoeing, hiking, gardening, and traveling with her beloved husband. She had a special affinity for birds and was an avid reader, immersing herself in the stories that brought her joy.
Mollie was known for her kindness and infectious smile. She brought laughter and warmth to everyone she met, embodying a spirit of generosity and compassion. Her love for Jesus was a guiding force in her life, and she held a steadfast belief in life after death.
Mollie is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Donald Earl Maner Sr.; her sons, Donald Earl Maner Jr. (Robin Shay Maner) and Edward Matthew Maner (Brooke Cason Maner); her stepdaughter, Lauren Maner Bazemore (Robert Bazemore); and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob Dixon, Andrew Dixon, Dylan Dixon, Grace Maner, Sal Maner, Kassidy Maner, and Laila Maner.
