Honorata Bizjak

Honorata Imberg Bizjak, 99, of Oakdale, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, in Genesis, Bridgeville Rehabilitation Center.
Honorata was born on November 28, 1924, in Poland, a daughter of the late Anton and Kostancja Imberg.
Mrs. Bizjak was a retired food service worker for Gladdo, which is now the Marriott. Honorata was an avid gardener. She loved being outdoors and tending to her flowers and home. There was never a leaf on her porch or a weed in her flower beds. Everything was immaculate, including the inside of her home. Honorata passion was cleaning. Her family always said you could eat off of her floors. Even though Honorata was always in the kitchen cooking something good, her home almost looked like a museum. In her free time, she loved to knit and crochet and was very gifted at it. Above all, Honorata's family was most important to her. She loved that her children gave her such a large family that she was able to enjoy and create so many memories with.
Surviving are her daughters, Theresa (Bill) Hartman and Lily (John) Cercone, daughter-in-law, Debbie Bizjak, grandchildren, Tracy (Chad), Tammy (Brian), Billy (Gena), and Frankie, great grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Macy, Jacob, and Lawson.
Along with her parents, Honorata is preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Bizjak, son, Frank Bizjak and siblings, Edmund Imberg, Albert Imberg and Henryk Imberg.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. and Crematory, 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800). A Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
