Horace "Mike" James Johnson, 67, of Springtown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 2, 2025 at his residence. He was the husband of Margaret Ellen (Becker) Johnson. Horace was born in Norfolk, VA on November 20, 1957 to the late Carl William and Barbara Ann (Clauser) Johnson. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Army National Guard in the 369th Engineer Company, part of the 817th PA Battalion. Mike worked for various companies as a truck driver: BFI, Koller Concrete, Villani Trucking, and he also worked for Johnson Matthey, Exton. He was a past member of the Palisades Regional Fire Rescue, Springtown.
Survivors: In addition to his wife of 24 years; children: Thomas (Honi) Trauger of Sellersville, Michael Trauger of Springtown, Christopher (Megan) Trauger of Springtown; siblings: Debby Coffee, Joy Turner, Richard Johnson; grandchildren: Jayden, Kaylie, Neilla, Izabela, Timothy, Eloise, Reid, Lilly, Britain, Harrison. Predeceased by brothers: Carl Johnson and Kirk Johnson.
Services: Graveside Services, with full military honors, will be held at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. The Connell Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory Hellertown is handling the arrangements.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., www.pawoundedwarriors.org
