Howard Crawford Adams, of Holly Pond, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the age of 55. Mr. Adams was born to Charles Edgar and Martha Carolyn Nelson Adams on October 5, 1968, in Jefferson County, Alabama.
Mr. Adams was a truck driver by trade, but his job wasn’t just a job. Howard loved what he did, and his time spent behind the wheel was a passion that he found joy in. Mr. Adams loved to laugh and joke and was always making others laugh too. His kindness and heart for others was evident in the ways he gave of himself to those who needed help. Howard loved his family, and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. Mr. Adams was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, and he will be greatly missed.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents as well as a son, Howard Lee Adams.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Michelle Adams; children, Austin Adams (Joy), Cory Adams (Emma), and Kaylin Cox (Skylar); and his grandchildren, Brayden Cox, Brycen Cox, Gunner Cox, Olivia Adams, Amanda Adams, and Zona Adams.
Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Saturday, December 16, 2023, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama, on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m., with Brother Tim Barnett officiating.
