Howard Bamburg Obituary
Mr. Howard Bamburg, 86, will be cremated as per his wishes and buried in Old Chapel Cemetery in the Martin community at a later date.
Mr. Bamburg was born on August 11, 1938, in Bunkie, LA to R. H. and Addie Bloom Holston Bamburg and passed January 21, 2025, in Natchitoches, LA. He worked in highway construction until his retirement.
Mr. Bamburg was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Ray Bamburg. Left to cherish his memory are his long-time companion, Jimmie Comer and her children, Dorothy, Judy, Lee, and Chris; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his son, Howard “Bubba” Bamburg, daughters, Lisa Bamburg, Thresa “Sissy” Brinkley (Don); brother, Jessie Lee Bamburg; grandchildren, Bryan Bamburg, Jacob Bamburg, Misti Adams (Donny), Jason Adams (Alice), Melanie Hutchins (Derek) and Cody Hood (Megan); great-grandchildren, Autumn, Ronnie, Summer, Destiny, Cameron, Ambreigh, Wyatt, Waylon, and Kherington; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
