Mr. Bamburg was born August 23, 1947 in Rock Springs, WY and passed away March 27, 2025. Lewis served his country in the United States Army. He was a true outdoorsman who shared his hobbies in life with his lovely wife, Sharon. He enjoyed fishing whether they caught anything or not. He had a passion of riding motorcycles, especially with their friends, Bob and Carolyn. Lewis also enjoyed the simple things in life, including sitting on the porch in his rocking chair. He loved his family immensely, but the true light of his life were his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Those treasured memories will live on forever in their lives and he will truly be missed by all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and LaVerne Bamburg, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James "Son" and Theo Bryant; two brothers, LaRay Bamburg and Winston Bamburg and his best friend, Bob Furguson; two sisters, Shirley Durr and Nelda Coleen Bamburg; two brothers-in-law, Derrell "Buddy" Bryant and Edison E. Bryant; three sisters-in-law, Doris Bamburg, Pat Bryant and Mary Bryant.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-eight years, Sharon Bamburg; his children, Tanya Walker (Randy), Natacha Bamburg, Jennifer Corley (Devin) and Will Bamburg (Amanda); sister, Rhonda Beach (Jody); grandchildren, Erica Corley (Allen), Hunter Layfield (Summer), Meagan Corley, Landyn Bamburg, Parker Bamburg, and Brantley Lawson; two great-grandchildren, Kash and Millie Layfield; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Linda Williams, James E. Bryant and Marsha Bryant and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Will Bamburg, Robert Hunter, Hunter Layfield, Allen Cook, Christopher Blanchard, and Josh Hinds. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Walker, Devin Corley, and Landyn Bamburg.
