Howard (Kip) Coy Blanton, 58, of Spring, Tx passed away in Houston, Texas at St Luke's Medical Center on January 11, 2025. Kip was born October 3,1966 in Longview, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Moody and Rosemary Blanton, and brother, Kenneth (Kenny) Moody Blanton II.
Kip was always an honest, hardworking man who provided for his family. After high school, he enlisted in the Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, he began his career with Texas Diamond Tools and Praxair/Linde for well over 30 years.
When he wasn't working he loved watching Nascar, Astros, and Cowboys on TV or attending the actual event. He was also competitive and enjoyed a backyard game of horseshoes and Texas Hold 'em. He loved dogs and never missed an opportunity to spend time and pet everyone's furbabies.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Jodi and Donald Duncan; sister Christina McPherson, best friend Belinda Blanton, step son Justin Norman, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, who all love him and miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2025 at the Timberlakes Pavillion, 25610 Timber Lakes Dr Spring, Tx 77380.
