Howard E. Boardman, 90, of West Bloomfield, New York died peacefully on June 5, 2025 after a life well lived. He leaves his wife of 63 years, Susan, his son Erik, daughter Theresa (Kohlmeier) and his beloved cats.
Most of his working life was at Bausch and Lomb. Howard was a highly creative person who was always willing to help with an innovative solution and nearly always with the appropriate tool. He enjoyed sailing on Canandaigua Lake, was a member of the National Ski Patrol (Ski Valley) and in retirement, he loved traveling back roads throughout the country with a fifth wheel trailer in tow. He was the consummate naturalist and a skilled observer of birds and animals on his travels as well as from his own window.
Donations in his memory can be made to The West Bloomfield Historical Society, Post Office Box 173, West Bloomfield, New York 14585
He will be deeply missed.
