In addition to his parents, Howard was predeceased by his beloved wife Judy Eastman, brother Michael Eastman, sisters Linda Daughtee and Shelly Kress, all of Iowa. He was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters-in-law.
He is survived by his three sons, Chad (Joyce) Eastman, Shawn Eastman, and Shane (Deanna) Eastman, all of Maryland; five grandchildren, Andrew Eastman, Alexandra Eastman, Larkin Eastman, Bryce Eastman, and Cody Eastman, all of Maryland; his brother James (Mary) Eastman of Delaware; his sister Ellen Eastman-Shipe of Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

I took a cruise around in your honor today Howie. Thanks for being there for me at my lowest. And thank you for helping me patch up this old truck. I´m someone who doesn´t make fast friends, but the memory of your friendship will be dear to me forever.
