Howard "Butch" Huebner Jr., passed away on December 14, 2024, in Strongsville, Ohio. Born on February 5, 1960, in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, Butch was a man whose life was defined by dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family.
Butch was the beloved husband of Barbara Huebner for 42 years, a testament to their enduring love and partnership. He was a loving father to his daughters, Sara Sinex (Craig) and Megan Crum (Cody). He was the cherished son of the late Howard Huebner Sr. and the late Mary Ellen Huebner. Butch was also a caring brother to Barbara (Paul) Kelly, Mary Williams, Louis (Denise) Huebner, and Steve (Peggy) Huebner. His role as a grandfather brought him immense joy, and he adored his grandchildren, Mason, Reagan, Hallie, and Nora, with all his heart.
Butch's professional life was marked by a remarkable 42-year career at the Ohio Department of Transportation, where he was not only respected for his work ethic but also cherished for his camaraderie and kindness. His colleagues knew him as a man who could always be relied upon, both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, Butch's passions were clear: he loved boating and fishing, activities that not only brought him peace but also allowed him to create lasting memories with his loved ones. Butch's devotion to his family was the cornerstone of his life. He was a man who would go to the ends of the earth for them, and this was most evident in the way he cherished his grandchildren. His love was boundless, and he instilled in his family the values of loyalty, compassion, and the importance of togetherness.
Butch's presence was a source of stability and strength for his family, and his guidance and wisdom will be profoundly missed. His laughter, warmth, and the stories he shared will continue to resonate with those who knew him. Butch's legacy is one of love, hard work, and the precious moments spent with family. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
