Howard played basketball at Bowdon High School. He was an excellent carpenter, electrician and tire changer. He did it all. He loved the senior group and frequently traveled all over with them. He had his first plane ride at the age of 89 and loved it.

His sister, Barbara Sue Walls, of Bowdon; and brothers and sisters in law, Calvin and Willene Robinson, of Bowdon Junction and Danny and Peggy Robinson of Buchanan also survive him.

Funeral services will be held, Sunday, July 27, at 3:00 PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Rev. Ben Truitt and Andy Truitt officiating. Music will be provided by Joseph Johnson.
