Sandy Reece Hubbard of Dallas, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, at her home, after a brave battle with Alzheimer's. She was 78 years old.

If there was ever a smiling face, it was Sandy Hubbard. With her infectious laugh and quick wit, Sandy brought joy to everyone she met. Born in Fort Payne, Alabama, on June 26, 1947, she later moved to Georgia at the encouragement of her Aunt and Uncle (Joe and Grace Reece) to find greater job opportunities beyond her small hometown.

It was there that Sandy met and married David Hubbard of Mableton, Georgia. Together, they built a life and a family, welcoming a son, John David (Little Dave) and, ten years later, a daughter, Autumn Annette, who completed their loving home.

Sandy was known for her impeccable style and creativity. Her fashion sense was unmatched, and her talent for floral design and decorating was truly extraordinary. Anyone who stepped into her home felt both awe at her decorating skills and the warmth of her hospitality.

Beyond her outward grace, Sandy had a heart that made everyone feel like the most special person in the room. She was a devoted mother, standing beside her children through every moment of life, offering unwavering love, support, and encouragement. Her children and grandchildren were truly the joy of her life.

Over the years, Sandy worked for both the Douglas County and Cobb County Water Departments before ultimately retiring from the Douglas County Superior Court. She loved her country and her Savior, Jesus Christ, and was never shy about sharing her faith and patriotism with others.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband David E. Hubbard , her parents, Vernon and Sarah Reece; her brothers, Mickey and Perry Reece, Cousin Mike Reec

She is survived by her son, Dave Hubbard, and wife, Gina; her daughter, Autumn Jones, and husband, Bryan; and her grandchildren, Sarah Burtz and Hudson Davis, her sister Diane and husband Neil Craig , her brother Kelly and wife Tina Reece , cousin Melony Reece and several Nieces and Nephews

A celebration of Sandy's life will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:00PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Tony Cagle and Bro. Jeff Layton speaking. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 11:00AM. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Shane Burtz, Jonathan Foster, Dustin Lanier, Rodney Meadows, Kenny Cauthen, and Jon Keith. Interment will follow in Melrose Garden of Memories in Villa Rica, GA. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind-a life filled with laughter, love, faith, and grace.
