Howard Jeffery Rudd, 76, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away February 1, 2024 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon. He was born July 25, 1947 to Clariece (Rudd) Thrailkill and Howard David Thrailkill. During his youth, he resided primarily with his aunt Juanita "Selma" Young in Shawneetown, Illinois. Later, in his late teens, he relocated to Mount Vernon, Illinois with his uncle, William Howard Rudd.
