Howard Walter Schultze Jr.

Howard Walter Schultze, Jr., 83, of Hampstead, Maryland passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, Maryland.
Born January 23, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Howard Walter Schultze, Sr. and Eleanor (née Schaaf) Schultze. He was the husband of Helen Fleming (née Germeten) Schultze, his wife of 45 years.
Mr. Schultze earned his bachelor degree from the University of Baltimore. He served in the U.S. Army for 23 years, retiring in 1988. He had worked as a sales manager for Dairymaid Dairy, retiring in 2011. He was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hampstead; Lebanon Lodge # 175, A.F. & A.M.; American Legion Post 200; and was a very active member of the North Carroll Senior Center. He was a big fan of the Baltimore Colts and was especially known for his jokes.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his sister-in-law, Peggy Germeten of York, Pennsylvania; Godson, Tré Arnold of Middle River, Maryland; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Please check back for updates.
