Jr. was born on March 16, 1945, in Beulah, Kentucky to Hubert and Alma Burden. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pam Turner on June 6, 1975. They shared almost 48 years of marriage together, before she preceded him in death on May 31, 2023.
Jr. was a hard worker and retired having been a boilermaker for local #363. He was a longtime member of the Brookport Church of God. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, Pam.
Jr. is survived by his daughter, Brandee Burden of West Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Lenzee Castaneda and Jaden Castaneda; great-grandchildren, McKynlee Castaneda, Mila Burnham, Lily Castaneda, and Remi Burnham; siblings, Christine Mayes, Etheline Stone, Marvin Burden, Marilyn Jones, Crystal Thornsberry, Tana Tennes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Alma Burden; wife, Pam Burden; granddaughter, McKenzee Castaneda; siblings, William Hubert Burden, Agnes Dunbar, Pauline Mayes, Carolyn Austin, Tommy Burden.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
