Hugo A. Barajas Gomez

Hugo A. Barajas Gomez, age 38, a resident of Round Lake, IL passed away on January 28, 2023 at Condell Hospital in Libertyville. He was born on April 21, 1984 in Linares, Mexico to Hector and Conchis Barajas. He was a White Sox fan, enjoyed vacationing and fishing, spending time with his family, and napping with his dog, Milo.
Hugo is survived by his wife, Claudia, of 20 years whom he married on April 4, 2002 in Lake County, IL; his mother, Conchis; his father, Hector; his children Jocelynn, Alejandro, Olivia; his dog, Milo; his siblings, Hector D. (Nina), Daniel, and Rocio; his nieces and nephews, Alexis, Julia, Natalie, JR, David, Mia, Lia, Devin, Kailynn, Jaden and Lilah. He is preceded in death by Dolores and Ernesto Barajas, Concepcion and Erasmo Gomez, Angel M. Gomez, and Erasmo Gomez.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Maria Del Popolo Catholic Church, 116 N. Lake Street, Mundelein, IL 60060 on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00am. A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60060 on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Interment will be held privately.
