On April 13, 2023 she was beckoned by our Lord to transcend from life to eternity.
She is survived by 5 children, Ewarth Swift, Edith Johnson, Leslie Johnson Mcghee, Austin Johnson and Nicole Hyacinth Swift, stepdaughter Barbara Pemberton and cousin Ioney Felix, 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by many family members and her SDA family.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; brother Winston Herbert, sister Geraldine Johnson-James; children Tyrone Swift, Lawrence "Bill" Swift, Carrie Mae Johnson and Jacklyn (Johnson) Wynn; grandson Sherwood Benjamin and great grandson Khamoi Petersen.
Hyacinth was a dedicated member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a beacon to her family and the many lives she encountered. Rest easy Queen Hyacinth.
Ms. Pemberton, may be viewed on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Carthage Chapel from 4:00 p.m. Until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Jacksonville 1st Seventh Day Adventist Church, 7951 Lenox Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32221.
