Ida Virginia Wilson Broyles, age 76, of Jonesborough, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. A native of Bumpus Cove Community, Ida is a daughter of the late John W. and Roxie (McNicol) Wilson. She was a member of Embreeville Freewill Baptist Church. She loved to create plastic canvas, loved to make flower arrangements and enjoyed coloring with her babies. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Broyles is preceded in death by her loving husband, Morris Broyles; sister, Mary Lee Rogers and a brother, Troy Wilson.Ida Virginia Wilson Broyles has left to cherish her memory: daughter, Robin Broyles; grandchildren, Shaylen Broyles, Savanah Emery, Aleah Emery; great grandchildren, Everleigh Broyles, Elena Broyles, Noah Buchanan; sisters, Dorothy Hughes and Christine Hensley; brother, Johnny Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Ida Virginia Wilson Broyles in a graveside service to be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Bumpus Cove Cemetery. Reverend Donnie Roberts will officiate. Those who wish to attend are asked to meet at Bumpus Cove Cemetery by 11:50 AM on Tuesday. Active pallbearers will be Bricen Bettis, Dillon Buchanan, TA Wilson, Adam Wilson, Jerry Walls, Jr., and Parker Hughes. Honorary pallbearer will be Noah Buchanan.
