Ida Robbins Obituary
Ida Mae Robbins was born on January 14,1953 to Bernice Hawkins-Robbins and Raymond Robbins in Dover, Delaware.
Ida retired from Capital School District in 2016. She loved to crochet, talk on the phone and spend time with her great granddaughter Kahmya Baynard, who she would call "Girl Baby" Ida also enjoyed playing cards and watching westerns. She liked keeping her nails done, that could be her simply doing them herself or with her great niece TyAnna Brown & great nephew Omari Brown, her "Little Man" would just watch them.
Ida's choice of DRUGS was a "COLD PEPSI", you would NEVER see her without one. She had a big heart and loved her family, so uncle Clarence & uncle Charlie Boy made sure to throw the best BBQs and parties. She loved to talk but one thing for sure if she didn't know your name, she would call you "Grady".
Ida was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. The love she shared will continue to live in our hearts and memories.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life Clarence Baynard, mother Bernice Hawkins, father Raymond Robbins, step father Jerry Hawkins, brother Leroy Robbins, sister Christine Walker, and niece Sharon Brown.
Ida leaves to cherish her precious memories to her four sons, Allen Baynard (LaToya) of Hartly, DE, Tyresse Baynard of Hartly, DE ; Todd Baynard (Tammy) of Houston, TX and Anthony Baynard (Yolanda) of Dover, DE; two brothers Donald Robbins (Brenda) of Woodside, DE, Daniel Mack (Shirley) of Lancasterr, PA ; three sisters Sharon Norman (Henry aka Uncle Shock) of Milford, DE, Maxine Robbins of Milford, DE and Blondell Williams (Robert) of Savannah, GA: two nieces (like daughters) Edna Brown of Harrisburg, PA and Cheryl Brown of Woodside, DE: eight grandchildren Cashawn Baynard of Dover, DE, Toni Fisher of Dover, DE, Jayla Bavnard of Houston, TX, Jeremy Baynard of Houston, TX, Destinee Johnson of Dover, DE, Diamond Johnson of Harrington, DE, Dranae Johnson of Hartly, DE and Demahni Johnson of Hartly, DE; special friends Sandy Steele of Dover, DE, Paula Walker of Hartly, DE and Mrs. Hunter of Felton, DE: and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
