Ida Travis Obituary
Ida attended Beaver High School, Beaver, OH, where she met the love of her life, Raymond, and graduated from Wayne High School, Wayne, WV in 1950. Ida attended Marshall College in Huntington, WV. She retired from the family business, American Adjustment Company where she was the bookkeeper and all-around hard worker, doing whatever was needed to successfully run their business. She also worked as a teacher's aide at Woodmore Elementary School. She was a member of Woodville United Methodist Church, Woodville, OH. Ida's greatest joy in life was her family. She devoted herself to being the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother possible and cherished the time she spent with her family.
Survivors include son Jeffrey (Barbara) Travis, of Elmore; daughters, Diana (John) Puffenbarger, of Fairfax Station, VA and Denise Paule, of Elmore. Grandchildren Tiffany (Matt) Becken; Ryan (Katie) Travis; Lindsay (Rich) Partenio; Mark (Heather) Puffenbarger; Haley (Kerry) Rickert; Steven (Colleen) Puffenbarger; Ciara (TJ) Grof; Alexandra Boscaino; 14 Great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Latt and Ida Maynard, husband Raymond, son-in-law Barrett Paule; siblings Lula Victoria Queen, Latt Maynard Jr, Dolphus Jay "DJ" Maynard, Mildred Pauline Wright, and Jay "Jaybird" Maynard.
Private services will be held by the family. Burial will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodville United Methodist Church or a charity of choice. Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements and where online condolences may be shared with the family at www.crosserpriesmanfuneralhome.com

To all of the family Jeff, Diane, and Denise I am so sorry, but I just heard about the passing of your Mom. Ida and Ray were both as kind to me as anyone else I knew. I will miss her as a neighbor for many years. Great memories of this family will remain with me always. I know that the three of you miss her greatly - but, she is now with the one that brought all of you together. Take care, and just know that I will think of her and your Dad everytime I go by the house.
