Ifeoma Eze Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 25, 2024.
Ifeoma, Ugogbeze, Ada Ahaba,You're Our Everything And Our Everything is You My Darling.
Life has meaning only to that degree and to that extent to which it is lived in service to humanity and to Ifeoma my wife, humanity, is infinite.
In the year of the LORD 1986, at the University of Port Harcourt, began a love story, a union and a meeting of two minds that crystallized into 'for better for worse' and 'I do" and the rest, they say, is history. But ours is not history but still ongoing by HIS GRACE.
Ifeoma my wife is full of life. An optimist that hardly takes NO for an answer. Ifeoma, treks every stoney road of go-getters with faith and equanimity. Sings regularly and has a full infectious smile. She is humility personified. Easy going and very accommodating.Lover of children and a christain of Catholic faith. A woman that shares whatever she has with anybody who cares to have. A mother of four wonderful children and a loving wife. She has pet names(Mommy's Sunshine, Mommy's Moonlight, Mommy Princess, and Didyboy) for all our children.
Ugogbeze was diagnosed with lupus close to ten years ago which made her relocate back to the United States. She had left the United States in 2005 for Nigeria to train her children in elementary and secondary schools. She did this to give the children a background knowledge of their homeland. A sense of belonging to their fatherland.
Ify nanma had her early education at Aba, in today's Abia state, Nigeria. She studied for her first degree(B.ED) at University of Port Harcourt and proceeded to University of Lagos for her masters in English(MA Hons) after observing the compulsory National Youth Service Corp(NYSC) in Akure Ondo state.
Ada Ahaba, worked briefly at Golden finance Lagos before leaving for the United States after her marriage to her college sweetheart-Kingsley Eze. It was at the insistence of the husband that she accepted to go to the US. She believes so much in the Nigerian project hence her moving back to Nigerian after having born her children in the US.
While in the US, because of her unending quest for knowledge, she had another masters degree in Special Education at North Carolina Central University(NCCU)while teaching(a profession she was in love with) with Durham Public School.
Back in Nigeria, Ify took up a lecturing job with Renaissance University at Ugboka, Enugu state before opening her own school-Tender Start Academy in Enugu. She was the Executive Director of Centre For Inclusive Education, an NGO based in Enugu. She served as Parish Secretary to Blessed Sacrament Parish Independence Layout Enugu.
No mortal is perfect but Ify as a mortal, is close to perfection in her relationship with people. He has no enemy. Easy going. Do not judge others. Gossiping and rumor mongering are characters no one associates Ify with. Ifeoma is a virtuous woman. Mrs Franca Emeziem on her condolence visit said, if Ify does not make Heaven, then she wonders who will.
Mary, your sister that has been part and parcel of this journey from day one, is in a state of disbelief. Martha and Ngozi waiting to see and confirm what they've been told. Your mom that calls you Ify Nanma is in a state I cannot fathom and my mom is yet to recover from the shock.
Ify my sister, my confidant, my go-to person, my girlfriend, my best friend, my wife. Why is it that good people don't last long? What a life? What a World? Adieu my own personal person. Adieu my loving wife. Junior, your Sunshine is devastated, Ifeanyi-your Moonlight is in confusion, Chisom-your Princess, is shattered, and Chidera-Didy, our family Diamond, is yet to grasp it.. For me, I cannot come to terms with it. I cannotaddress you in a past tense because to me, you're still living.
