Ignacio Carrillo Botello

Graveside services for Ignacio Carrillo Botello, age 73 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Gaines County Cemetery with Pastor Gilbert Ramirez officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Botello was born in Mexico on July 31, 1952 to Aurora (Carrillo) and Dolores Botello, Sr. He married JoAnn Garcia in Brownfield, Texas on November 9, 1970. Ignacio was a hardworking man as a contract pumper. He never met a stranger and had a big heart. His friends all consider him a friend for life. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly.

Ignacio Botello passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at his home in Seminole. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Botello in 2021. He is survived by one son, Gabriel Botello and wife Paula of Seminole: two daughters, Anna Luna and husband Eric of Lubbock, Texas, and Yolanda Robledo and husband Noe of Seminole; two brothers, Dolores Botello, Jr. of Dallas, Texas, and Johnny Botello of Denver City, Texas; four sisters, Martha Galvan and husband Dan of Allen, Texas, Lupe Escobedo of Houston, Texas, Sylvia Ridge and husband John of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Elva Lozano and husband Rudy of Lubbock, Texas; seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
