With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ignacio Molina Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us peacefully on June 7, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 9, 1942, in Robstown, Texas, Ignacio was a proud man, deeply rooted in family life. He lived a life of resilience and hard work, dedicating his years to farming and trucking, embodying the spirit of dedication and perseverance. He instilled in his children hard work and always being a person of their word and doing what's right. He was always brutally honest and to the point. He loved driving fast and Ford trucks. He took great care of his children and grandchildren, especially Oscar.
Ignacio was known to those who loved him as a man with a heart of gold, unwavering in his convictions and as stubborn as a mule-but in the best possible way. He cherished his family above all else, leaving behind his son Ignacio Juan "Johnny" Molina, III, his daughter Christy Molina, and his son Stevan Molina. Followed by grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved siblings, 9 sisters and 5 brothers. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Each of them holds within their hearts countless memories of his love, wisdom, and his unwavering spirit.Services will be held to honor and celebrate Ignacio's with a visitation on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM. at Sanders Memorial Chapel. The Holy Rosary will begin at 7 PM. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Sanders Memorial Chapel. In accordance with his wishes, Ignacio will be cremated.Though Ignacio's physical presence may be gone, his spirit and the legacy of his love will remain with us forever. May we carry forward his strong values, kindness, and sense of family as we honor the memory of a truly remarkable man.Ignacio was preceded in death by: Beatrice Mendoza, Igancio Molina, Juan Molina, Elena Molina, Gloria and his granddaughter Alicia Ramos.
