Igor Sorkin

Igor Sorkin, 47, of Olathe, KS, passed away on 08/22/2021.
Igor was born in Russia in 1974 to Roman and Svetlana Sorkin. He was an amazing father, a beloved husband, a thoughtful son, a caring uncle, and a dear friend to many.
Igor was a talented singer and guitarist, who enjoyed singing in the car with his daughter Eliora. He was also an athlete, and often practiced playing soccer with his son David. He had a keen sense of humor, enjoyed relaxing, and always made those around him smile and laugh. He was a Computer Architect, who worked hard and enjoyed his profession.
Igor is survived by his wife Nadia Dibenedetto of Olathe, children Eliora and David Sorkin by Anna Farias, parents Roman and Svetlana Sorkin, siblings Renata Sorkin (Dinesh Laxman), and Hanna Schlager (Shamshy Schlager), and niece and nephews Adella, Azarya, and Asher Schlager.
His untimely departure has left an unimaginable void in the lives of his friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery on August 24, 2021. Shiva will be held at Igor's parents' residence.
