null Ikhmais Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin & Hightower Funeral Home - Carrollton on Jan. 30, 2026.
It is with deep sadness that we announce Sammie' Abdul Ikhmais, a beloved son and brother, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2026, at the young age of 27 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born on April 20, 1998, in Carrollton, Georgia, Sammie was the cherished son of Sherry Faulkner Ikhmais and a dear brother to Savannah Ikhmais.

Sammie was a proud graduate of Mt. Zion High School, class of 2016. Following his graduation, he dedicated himself to serving our country by enlisting in the United States Army, where he embraced the challenges and experiences that shaped him into the remarkable man he became. Known for his intelligence and curiosity, Sammie had a knack for diving into new topics and sharing his discoveries with those around him. He also had a special bond with his dog, Brick, who always brought a smile to his face.

Sammie's family and friends will remember him for his quick wit and the infectious joy he brought to every moment. He will be deeply missed, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at the Dove-Witt Family Mortuary in Fountain, Colorado, on February 11, 2026.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Sammie's life at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the hour of service. We invite all who knew him to join us in celebrating Sammie's life and the impact he had on each of us.

Messages of condolence may be shared with the family at www.martin-hightower.com. Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Ikhmais family.
