Virginia Beach - Ikuko Nakamura White, a devoted and beloved daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law and friend, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, at the age of 94. Born on August 2, 1931, in Kumamoto, Japan, Ikuko was the cherished daughter of Masami and Tatsue (Yoshida) Nakamura.

Throughout her life, Ikuko demonstrated an unwavering dedication to her work and family. She served as a Translator for Canon, where her skills and commitment were valued by all who worked with her. Her journey brought her from Japan to the United States, where she built a life filled with love and meaningful connections.

Ikuko was preceded in death by her loving parents, her devoted husband, John Gordon White, and her daughter, Terry Lackey. She is survived by her sons Russell White (Denise), and John Mark White, four grandchildren, Johnnie Lackey (Shiloh), Lauren White, Russell White Jr (Ashley) and Emily White (Syed) and two great grandchildren Sandie and Carson White, along with other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
