Ilir Beqo Obituary

Ilir was born on July 16, 1960 in Albania. He was one of three sons born to Shyqyri and Vera (Gjona) Beqo. On August 3, 1986, he married Elvira Bendo in Albania. They shared 39 wonderful years together making memories and raising their two children. Ilir worked as a delivery driver for Kyriakos Dairy until he retired on August 1, 2025. He was a coffee connoisseur. Ilir enjoyed traveling back home to Albania and to Cancun, Mexico. He loved his family deeply and devoted his life to them. Spending time with his family; watching his grandchildren in their events and sports; and big family dinners were his favorite things to do in life. Ilir's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and he will be greatly missed.
Ilir is survived by his wife, Elvira; children, Emanuela (Dharmender) Singh and Florjan (Krystn) Beqo; granddaughters, Jolexa, Julia and their father, Klajdi Dallo; grandsons, Gianni and Adriano; brothers, Engjellush (Hamdije) Beqo and Adriatik (the late Vera) Beqo; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Ilir will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hauss-Modetz Funeral Home, 47477 Romeo Plank, Macomb. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with an instate time of 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
