Ina Doster Obituary
Mrs. Ina Adell Doster, age 91 of Grover, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Jones of Grover, NC, Mary Ann Oliver of Grover, NC, Cindy Bailes of Grover, NC, and Joe Bailes (Tina) of Grover, NC, eight grandchildren, Charlotte Whitehead (Rich) of Shelby, NC, Ernest Wright (Robin) of Grover, NC, Travis Hamrick of Grover, NC, Brian Oliver of Grover, NC, Josh Phillips (Lakeija) of Shelby, NC, A.J. Bailes (Brooke) of Polk County, NC, Darren Bailes (Brittany) of Lawndale, NC, and Chris Jones of Shelby, NC, and 23 great grandchildren.
Born May 27, 1933, in Cleveland County, NC, Ina was the daughter of the late Levie Doster and Susie Carrol Doster and was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Jones, a grandson, Douglas Jones, and her siblings, Eugene Doster, Nancy Wright, and Ozell Bridges.
Ina was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, watching old tv shows, sewing, word search puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Midview Baptist Church. She loved reading her Bible and spreading the gospel. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Midview Baptist Church in Kings Mountain conducted by Rev. Mike Rice. A visitation will be held from 1:00pm – 2:30pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
