I met Ines when I worked with her at FSU in Financial Aid. I had never met anyone like her. She was beautiful, kind and saw something in me. She knew how to motivate those around her. She loved the students and would do anything to help them. Many students were able to graduate because of her.
She became a dear friend and Godmother to my son. She could talk me into anything and we had many misadventures. She loved her family and held her friends close. She had so many friends and they all loved her.
I will miss her impish smile and laugh. I will miss her telling me how beautiful I was (I am not) and how smart I was (not).
I am going to miss you Ines. Have fun with Bill and your mom. Love you sweet one.

Ines Twomey was my first mentor and a dear friend. I worked under her at FSU Financial Aid for eight years and she was always tactful, professional, and always had students´ best interests at heart and I´m sure many would never have graduated without her dedication.
She was also dedicated to her staff and she took us all in, helped us to become better professionals and better people. She shared herself and her family with our families and always had a sympathetic ear. If you were down, she´d pick you up. If there was a party she´d be out dancing!
She was an amazing cook, decorator, daughter, wife and mother. She was as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. I feel very privileged to have known her and while I´m very sad to hear she has passed, I know now she can be dancing and sailing with Bill now in the heavens and laughing with her mama.
I love you, Ines. Thank you for everything! Thank you for giving everything. For being the amazing person you are. Death doesn´t change that.
You and your family are always in my prayers.
