Inez Talley Bouldin, aged 94, passed away on October 22, 2025. Graveside services will be conducted on October 24, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Pisgah, Alabama, with Rev. Donald Jacobs, Sr., officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rainsville Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bouldin was born on August 14, 1931, in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, to R. C. and Allie Evett Talley. Her family relocated back to Alabama during her early childhood, where she spent most of her life in Jackson County. She married Sam Bouldin on December 19, 1953, and they shared 48 years of marriage until his passing in November 2002. Together, they had two sons, Mark and Greg. Mrs. Bouldin found joy in family reunions, gardening, cooking, sewing, and quilting. In March 1973, she established a home daycare, lovingly providing care for over 160 children until its closure in October 2000. She was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bouldin is survived by her son, Greg (Sandra) Bouldin; daughter-in-law, Jane Bouldin Muse; granddaughters, Kelly (Kris) Roney, Katie (Andrew) Perez, and Carlie (Clay) Bennett; great-grandchildren, Harper Paige Roney, Sam Thomas Roney, Samuel Bradley Bennett, and Letty Chandler Perez; sister, Salley Clark; sister-in-law, Barbara Talley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Bouldin; son, Mark Bouldin; parents, R.C. and Allie Evett Talley; brothers, J.B., Carl, Joe, and Bill Talley; and sisters, Flora Carr Lacy and Betty Higgins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Shepard's Cove Hospice in Albertville, Alabama.
