Inez Marie Butcher

Inez Marie Butcher passed away May 25, 2025 at the age of 88.
Inez was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a maternal figure to many others who loved her as if she were their own. Most of all, she was a child of God, and she was looking forward to Heaven to be with her Savior and to be reunited with her husband and son.
Inez was born July 24, 1936 in Akron. She moved to Hudson in 1957 to start Hudson Heating Company with her husband, which they owned for 39 years. She and Don loved to travel and got to see a lot of our world. She loved her family and friends, was involved in church, had a generous spirit, and loved to take care of others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; son, Little Don; granddaughter, Mackenzie Bettio; parents, Lloyd and Agie Landrum; and sister, Lynn Thompson.
Mom will be dearly missed by children Sandy (Matt) Boyd of Nashville, Mark (Lily) Butcher of Hudson, Dan (Sheree) Butcher of Akron, and Teri Bettio of Tallmadge (We love you Mom!). Grandma was adored by grandchildren Austin (Rebecca), Audrey (Jonathan), Madison (Nick), Maxx, and Rylee and her great-grandchildren Emory, Ben, Summer, Beau, Myles, and Samuel (We love you Grandma!).
A huge thank you to the teams at Danbury Hudson and at Gardens of Western Reserve Hospice for their amazing care and compassion.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at Christ Community Chapel, 750 W Streetsboro Street, Hudson, Ohio. Private burial will be at Markillie Cemetery in Hudson.
