Inez Jean Fudge, age 89, passed away on September 28, 2024. She was born on August 27, 1935 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Clarence and Inez Fortenberry. Jean is also preceded in passing by her husband, Kirby Gene Fudge; son, Kyle Gene Fudge; and sister, Jane Svenning. She is survived by daughter, Kristi Worster (Todd); grandchildren, Lauren Maurer (Garrett), Matthew Kyle Fudge (Shelby), Zander Yarger, Slava Yarger, Brett Worster, and Lexi Worster; and great-grandchildren, Avianna Maurer, Fletcher Fudge, and Axel Fudge.
Jean was a servant of Jesus Christ, whose faith shaped the foundation of her life and inspired those around her. She loved serving with church choirs for over 60 years, teaching children, and fellowshipping with family and friends. Jean enjoyed camping and going to the lake & beach. She had a loving and joyful spirit that was felt by all who were lucky enough to know her. Her greatest accomplishment was instilling love and forgiveness to her family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Funeral Service being held immediately following at Hendersonville First Baptist Church with Mr. Jeff Lake officiating. Entombment will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cumberland Crisis Pregnancy Center in memory of Jean.
