Inez G. Di Stefano

Inez G. Di Stefano, 95, of Chula Vista, CA passed away on August 22, 2023. Born one of ten children in Otay, California to Simon and Adelfa (Castro) Gonzales. She was a woman who lit up the room until the very end. Inez was preceded in death by her beloved husband and love of her life, Vito Di Stefano.

Inez is survived by her loving daughter Adele Pino (Armando), sons Steve (Rosemary), Vito (Pat), 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother, Arnold Gonzales, and many nieces and nephews.

Inez enjoyed working in her yard, especially the never ending hedges which had to be perfect. The large yard and home was always pristine. She enjoyed watching the Padres, dancing and making tamales with her sidekick/sister-in-law Freda and visiting family. Her love for her family was immeasurable and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Inez will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and unwavering love for her family, and the joy she brought to everyone's lives.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PMA funeral service will occur Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11 AM with burial to follow. Both will be held at Chapel of the Roses in Glen Abbey Memorial Park.
