Ingrid Saur

Ingrid Saur, 67, of Vernon, CT, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Fox Hill Center, surrounded by her family. Ingrid was born in Germany on March 30, 1958, daughter of the late Heinz and Rosemarie (Konzman) Saur. She immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 8. She worked as an accountant in the manufacturing industry for most of her career. Ingrid was an avid ornithophile (bird lover), often donating to various aviary support programs. She leaves her sister-in-law, Marie Teresa Saur of Vernon, and two nephews, Christopher Saur and his wife Karina of Vernon, Troy Saur and his wife Sara of New Britain, and a niece, Bridget Goodale and her husband Carson of Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by her brother, Ernst Saur. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 10 a.m., at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Rd., South Windsor, CT.
