Ira E. "Orie" Clark, Sr., 75 of Rootstown formerly of Shalersville, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at his residence in Rootstown. Orie was born on January 8, 1950 in Madison, West Virginia to his late parents Estil and Beulah (Jarrell) Clark. He had worked as a truck driver, retiring from Giant Eagle Distribution Services. In addition to his parents, Orie was preceded in death by his wife Sandra J. Clark whom passed on August 29, 2013. He is survived by his children Ira E. (Mindy) Clark, Jr., and Tommy (Shianna Cole-Smith) Cole, grandchildren Erin Rice, Nikki Clark, Kristen Clark, Anthony Cole, Cory Cole, Jazlyn Cole and Riley Cole, great grandchildren Everleigh, Eden and Esaias, and his siblings Ray Clark, Harlos Clark, Elizabeth , Martha, Reba and Judy. In honoring Orie's request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Condolences and memories of Orie may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
